Shaw Park Braves 11U drops high-scoring affair to Sun devils, 13-12

The Shaw Park Braves 11U lost a battle of the bats on Saturday at Loganville, falling short in a 13-12 ballgame against Sun devils.

Alex C put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Shaw Park Braves 11U. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings.

Grenon, Pope, Carruth and Davis helped lead Sun devils. They combined for six hits and seven RBIs.

Four relief pitchers finished off the game for Sun devils. R R faced three batters in relief, while Oneal managed to record one out to aid the victory.

Shaw Park Braves 11U musters more hits but fall 7-6 to KY Select

The Shaw Park Braves 11U lost 7-6 in five innings at West Walton Park on Saturday, despite outhitting KY Select six to five.

Alex C racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Shaw Park Braves 11U. He homered in the fourth inning.

KY Select was sparked by McClure and Adams, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.

KY Select never trailed after scoring two runs in the first on a two-run home run by Adams.

KY Select tacked on another four runs in the third. A error scored Pingleton to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by McClure’s single, plating Cotton.

After pushing across four runs in the top of the fourth, the Shaw Park Braves 11U faced just a 6-4 deficit. An RBI single by Ryan K, an RBI single by Severin H, and a two-run home run by Alex sparked the Shaw Park Braves 11U’s rally. Finally, Cotton got Jackson P to fly out to end the threat.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the fifth, the Shaw Park Braves 11U faced just a 7-6 deficit. A groundout by Carter H and an error gave the Shaw Park Braves 11U life. But, Cotton got Will C to strike out to end the game.

K’s big day not enough, as MYB Titans loses 11-4 to Shaw Park Braves 11U

The Shaw Park Braves 11U lost 11-4 to the MYB Titans on Saturday at West Walton Park, despite a total of four hits.

Ryan K led the Shaw Park Braves 11U’s offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the third inning.

The MYB Titans were sparked by Reich and Chebuhar, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.

The game’s last lead went to the MYB Titans thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on an error and two singles.

Three runs in the bottom of the third helped the Shaw Park Braves 11U close their deficit to 4-3. A passed ball, a passed ball, and an RBI single by Ryan triggered the Shaw Park Braves 11U’s comeback. Finally, Berman induced an inning-ending fly out from Alex C.

The MYB Titans tacked on another seven runs in the fourth. A error scored McCown to get the MYB Titans on the board in the inning.

One run in the bottom of the fourth helped the Shaw Park Braves 11U close their deficit to 11-4. gave the Shaw Park Braves 11U life. Chebuhar got the last out, as the Shaw Park Braves 11U’s Ryne O struck out.

Despite hit advantage, Shaw Park Braves 11U drops 8-4 game to MT Paran Patriots

The Shaw Park Braves 11U lost 8-4 in five innings at MT Paran on Sunday, despite outhitting MT Paran Patriots seven to six.

Alex C racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Shaw Park Braves 11U. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

The Shaw Park Braves 11U jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Severin H got things going for the Shaw Park Braves 11U with a single. A stolen base then moved Severin from first to second. Alex singled, plating Severin.

MT Paran Patriots went up for good in the fourth, scoring five runs on a passed ball, a sacrifice fly by Lyell, and two singles.

A two-run fifth inning helped bring the Shaw Park Braves 11U within three. A groundout by Ryan K and an RBI single by Alex set off the Shaw Park Braves 11U rally. But, Lantis got Will C to ground out to end the game.

Shaw Park Braves 11U falls 12-2 to East Side Venom despite H’s effort

The Shaw Park Braves 11U scattered four hits on Sunday, but weren’t able to push enough runs across, and lost 12-2 to East Side Venom at MT Paran.

Severin H reached base two times. He singled in the first inning.

East Side Venom’s Kurnik, Brown, Atkins and Shephard combined for nine hits and six RBIs.
